Co-owners Erica Vucich and Patrick Brennan on why they merged two ancient practices to create Vibetality.

How did your yoga studio come about? What was your vision or mission? When you’re creating the world’s first anything, the creation story is usually a unique path, and Vibetality is no exception. We started with the idea of combining the science behind whole-body vibration with the ancient practice of yoga. Both of these methods have helped each of us overcome different health issues, and eventually we figured out a way to merge the two practices. Once our doors opened, we became the first ever whole-body vibration yoga studio and an entirely new movement practice was born. It’s our goal now to reconnect people to their inherent state of well-being and create positive and long lasting physical and mental change for students and our community.

In your opinion, what is one of the most interesting or unique features about the yoga studio’s architecture or design? The combination of science and nature in our studio is rather unusual. We have nearly 200 square feet of living plant space in our studio, while also having the first ever in-floor whole body vibration plates.

What is one key to your yoga studio’s success? The Vibetality community is without a doubt the most fantastic aspect of Vibetality. Our VibeTribe members are one big, supportive, happy family. There is an unparalleled level of acceptance, connection and friendship centered around a community that cares for its members. The Vibetality community is truly a unique and select group of people, and it’s something you just can’t find anywhere else.

What is one piece of advice you could give to other studio owners? Love your students, care about your students’ lives, not just their yoga practice.
