Summer can be a time of slowdown in your studio.
From summer vacations and needing to be home to watch the kids, it can be difficult for your students to find time to make it into your studio. As summer begins to winddown, hosting “End of Summer Sales” or “Back to School Sales” can help you fill your studio back up.
Downward Drinking Dog in San Jose, California, has a goal of making the end of summer awesome instead of bittersweet. They are partnering with Hapa’s Brewing Co. for an End-of-Summer Block Party on August 25.
The party will have DJ Yogic Flow mixing music, and attendees will participate in an all-levels tag-team yoga flow led by two yoga instructors.
Downward Drinking Dog wants participants to wash down this summer event with a pint of ice-cold beer and a chance to win a prize. Food trucks will be on site to refuel after class. All participants must be 21 or older.
If partnering with a brewery isn’t practical for your studio, read below for other ideas to introduce an end of summer sale or event for your yogis.
