Samadhi Center for Yoga works to bring yoga to thousands of yogis in Denver, Colorado.

How did your yoga studio come about? What was your vision or mission? The studio was founded by Andora Freedom, who strived to offer people a spiritual yoga community center in Denver, which at that time did not have much yoga going on at all, unlike today. Samadhi’s mission is to be a sanctuary of support offering depth, excellence and love in service of our collective awakening.

What is one of the most interesting features about the yoga studio’s architecture or design? Our murals. We have amazing imagery painted on the walls of each space. Additionally, our uptown studio is known for an array of beautiful prayer flags.

What is one key to your yoga studio’s success? The fact we are so established and known for authenticity. We are not a chain, or corporately-run and this comes through in a down-to-earth, welcoming vibe. We also encourage depth of yogic study and this draws serious practitioners who want more than a physical stretch. We host a wide variety of workshops, immersions and events; from local teachers to internationally-known instructors. We offer renowned 200-hour and 300-hour teacher trainings.

What is one piece of advice you could give to other studio owners? Lead with love, and stay open to the flow; you never know what miracles are in store.
